Alison Pike – Upping your social media game in 14 minutes a day
You know how easy it is to lose more time than you have on social media and not get results despite your good intentions. Alison will be sharing some advice on how to get the best return for your efforts using only 1% of your day.
Fifteen years ago, I fell into the world of social media, and I haven’t looked back. When I started my own e-commerce business, I quickly saw social media’s potential to reach and engage customers, even as a small player in a crowded market. I was an early adopter of video product guides, amassing thousands of views and substantial sales before it became common practice.
Since then, I’ve run my own social media marketing business, working with a wide cross section of clients – from indie retailers and food brands to events and influencers. I’ve helped businesses from every corner find their voice on social media, whether it’s supporting a one-time event or driving long-term growth.

Colours relay meanings and impact behaviour; it’s evident in logos and marketing that deliver non-verbal messaging every day. This colour psychology can also be applied to dressing to create strong first impressions and even communicate personal branding. Let’s look at how wearing colour is the key to expressing YOU.
Lindsay Edmeades is a Personal Stylist trained by world leading Colour Me Beautiful. Having lived in several countries including in South Africa, Germany and even Gibraltar, she loves working with people of all backgrounds to help them look and feel their best.

Every woman in business has a journey, and it’s not just about reaching the destination—it’s about celebrating every win along the way. By understanding the why behind our wins, wisdom, and wants, we don’t just build businesses—we begin storytelling! In this interactive session we will delve into how these powerful insights drive us forward, bringing passion and purpose to everything we pursue.

Verity Lott – Showing with Fierce self-compassion for yourself and your business
As women in business, we often put ourselves last on the to-do list. ‘Fierce self-compassion’ teaches us how important it is to show ourselves the same care and attention we easily give to others. I will talk about the importance of moving yourself up on your to-do list and why it’s so important to show yourselves not just compassion but fierce self-compassion.
Verity, a psychologist and yoga teacher dedicated to showing women how to look after their mind and body health. I use multiple methods to do this, all of which take the whole person into consideration. I hold regular movement classes and retreats based in Peterborough and an online practice called the MindBody Clinic, supporting women to find and walk the right path.
